VOX POPULI

"Yatze Forkash" comes from the Rodopi dialect and means "You hurry too much" and is the title of VOX POPULI's second verbatim performance, based on interviews, stories and songs which our team gathered on an expedition in the Rodopi mountains in August 2012. "Yatze Forkash" is a stage story for things that are on their way to extinction - the authentic folklore, the generic memory, life in the village and the bond of the modern person with his roots. The spectacle is awarded with the IKAR award in the category "Dramaturgical text" in 2013.
