"Crime scene evidence" in Maymunarnika
The documentary perfomance "Crime scene evidence" based entirely on documents and stories about the surrounding violence, will meet audience on the 9, 14 and 15 June at 21:00 in the club "Maymunarnika" in Central Park.
The production follows the tragedy which took place in July in 2011, when the body of Yana Krasteva was found in the Central Park of the capital. For a long time the case is in the maelstrom of media attention, but while the public interest ended with the detection and punishment of the perpetrator, for VOX POPULI this is only a starting point.
For maximum authenticity the perfomance will take place in the club, where Yana spent her last hours. The audience follow the story through the actions of police investigators, the media, a journalist guru of a whole generation, and of politicians and ordinary people. These characters are key factores in determining the pathologies of our modern society.
